CHILDREN
Children are accommodated at the following percentage of the full rate;
• When sharing with adults in an additional bed:
Age 0 - 4 = free, Age 4 -10 = 25%, Age 11-15 = 50%.
• When sharing a room with another child or children:
Age 0 - 4 = 25%, Age 4 - 10 = 50%, Age 11 - 15 = 70%.
INCLUSIONS - WINTER
Price includes en-suite accommodation in a queen, king or twin bedded room, (please see accommodations page for a full description of rooms) continental breakfast and afternoon tea each day. Hot breakfast and four-course dinner with canapés, coffee and homemade petit fours plus complimentary wine on six nights out of seven. Complimentary transfers from Cranbrook Airport or discounted shuttle rate from Calgary. Scheduled shuttle to the lift base each morning and use of all facilities

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY.
TERMS
Rooms are offered on a first come, first served basis.
Rates in Canadian dollars per person.
6% GST + 10% Hotel Sales Tax are applicable to all rates. (GST is refundable to overseas visitors).
Minimum three nights. (Winter only)
Single occupancy – No supplements for 2007/8 for single occupancy when staying a minimum of seven nights, for lone travellers or groups with odd numbers.
Supplement of 10% payable for single occupancy when staying less than seven nights, and for friends who prefer their own room.
Payment of non refundable deposit of CAN$250.00 is required to confirm all reservations. Provisional bookings will be held for a maximum of 7 days.
Payment in full is required 8 weeks prior to the date of arrival.
Where bookings are made within 8 weeks of arrival, payment in full is required immediately to secure the booking.
CANCELLATION
• Cancellations are subject to the following penalties.
• Cancellation with 60 days notice – no penalty.
• With 31-60 days notice – deposit is retained.
• With 15-30 days notice - 70% of full balance is retained.
• With 14 days notice or in the event of a no show - full balance is retained.
• If you wish to move your reservation to a later date you may do so subject to availability and the following:- payment of balance if moving to a higher rate period plus 10% if less than 30 days notice is provided.
If Beavertail Lodge cancels a holiday a full refund will be provided except where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or accepted by circumstances amounting to “force majeure”; Such circumstances shall include, but are not limited to, war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorism, strife, industrial disruption, natural disasters, fire, technical problems or accidents with airports, ports or transport, inclement weather, governmental action and similar events beyond our control.
LIABILITY
Beavertail Lodge accepts no responsibility for provisions made for any winter sport provided by Fernie Alpine Resorts or any other service provider, or for any effect that inclement weather conditions may have on your holiday.
Adherence to dietary requirements can only be guaranteed if notified in writing at least 14 days in advance. All requests will be met wherever possible but failing to provide for any special requests will not constitute a breach of contract.
Beavertail Lodge accepts no liability for personal accident or injury to any person whilst on the premises or while being transported in the company vehicle or in an any vehicle contracted by Beavertail Lodge.
All personal property is considered in the safekeeping of the owner, unless handed in to the proprietors for safe storage.
Beavertail Lodge accepts no liability for any injury, accident or death which occurs whilst skiing, snowboarding or participating in any other sport or activity at Fernie Alpine Resort or while using ski lifts.
Comprehensive travel insurance is a requirement of booking if you intend to take part in any sporting activity whilst staying at Beavertail Lodge. Holiday insurance is strongly recommended.
