WEDDINGS

A wedding at Beavertail Lodge is a day to remember. After your ceremony enjoy a champagne and canapé reception with your guests followed by a tailor-made four-course dinner served with selected wines. Finish your meal with a special wedding cake prepared by Brett, served with coffee and liqueurs. Weddings at Beavertail Lodge are an intimate affair - a maximum of ten guests can join you in staying at the lodge. If your guest list is larger, a seated dinner can be served in the lounge for a maximum of 24 or for a maximum of 36 as a cocktail party or standing buffet. In summer the garden gazebo is the obvious choice for your ceremony.  We will gladly assist you with all the arrangements - flowers, a photographer or anything else you require can be booked for you and every detail tailored to your requirements to create the perfect white wedding. THE FESTIVE SEASON

Always ready to enjoy a special occasion, Beavertail Lodge will be decorated in festive style for the holidays. For Christmas, enjoy plenty of special treats, such as traditional mince pies with brandy cream, a huge roast with all the trimmings, flaming Christmas pudding, eggnog and mulled wine.  Open your presents around the tree and have a snowball fight in the garden. You’ll even find a Christmas gift under the tree.

Welcome in the New Year with Champagne and midnight nibbles and awake late the next morning to a special brunch with plenty of delicacies such as smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, bucks fizz and fresh roast ham with sautéed herb potatoes. A gift for every guest will remind you of your special New Year holiday at Beavertail Lodge.

SPECIAL PACKAGES

While you might be coming for the skiing, there are plenty of other activities available in Fernie and the surrounding area.  Backcountry skiing, skidooing, cat-skiing, dog-sledding and ice fishing on remote mountain lakes are just some of the winter activities you can enjoy, and can all be arranged in advance.  In summer we are available for group bookings and can tailor a weekend package to your individual requirements. In addition to fantastic hiking, there is an abundance of golf, white water rafting, horse riding and mountain biking available nearby.  Combine this with some fun and informative cooking classes, and you’ve got a great weekend!
