Beavertail Lodge Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains and on the mountain at Fernie Alpine Resort.
Fernie is situated southwest of Calgary (just a three hour drive), and only a one hour drive from Cranbrook International Airport (Canadian Rockies International Airport) and Kimberley Alpine Resort.
Your hosts, Wells and Karen Marshall welcome you to Beavertail Lodge B&B, and Fernie, British Columbia with true northern hospitality and invite you to make yourself at home in their warm and comfortable guest rooms, each with its own ensuite. Picture yourself relaxing beside our wood fireplace while enjoying the stunning view of the Lizard Mountain Range, or soaking in the secluded outdoor hot tub under a beautiful, clear night sky.
In addition to the secluded outdoor hot tub set in the forest garden, our guest facilities include a large open plan guest living room with log fireplace and panoramic mountain views, vaulted ceiling dining room overlooking the forest garden and five ensuite guest rooms. Wireless internet service is also provided.
Beavertail Lodge B&B is designed so you have all the privacy you desire in suites that are separate from the main part of the house, combined with the opportunity to meet new friends in our guest living room and breakfast dining room. Your hosts are close enough to call on if you need anything, but separate enough to give you your own space!
Fernie’s award winning ski slopes are just a short ride away in the Lodge shuttle each morning and at the end of the day you can ski or board right back to Beavertail Lodge B&B. In the summer, world famous fly-fishing, endless mountain bike trails, climbing, river rafting and hiking are just a few of the activities that await you in the Fernie area. We look forward to welcoming you to Beavertail Lodge B&B, and we will do everything we can to ensure you enjoy your holiday and your stay in Fernie.
The town of Fernie is a short 5 minute drive (7 km) away; Fernie Alpine Resort is a 7 minute walk. Both the town and the resort offer a wide range of options for lunch and dinner, from pubs to fine dining: curry’s, seafood, wild meats, vegetarian fare and burgers! A town shuttle bus service runs throughout the day for the ski season and taxi service is readily available if you’d rather relax and leave the driving to someone else.
The property is non-smoking throughout.
